The historic Main Building is oldest structure for HKU (The University of Hong Kong), constructed in 1910 - 1912, and was given to Hong Kong by Sir Hormusjee Naorojee Mody who was a well-known Parsi businessman as to celebrate his fifty years of residence in the colony.
